Description: The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the Earth he has given to mankind. - Psalm 115:16 :- The Environment Week Assembly was conducted with much enthusiasm and cheer on 19th October 2022 in the Junior School. The main objective of the programme was to spread awareness about the effects of pollution and what we can do to protect our planet Earth. The assembly commenced with the story of creation and the children spoke about our beautiful planet Earth which is still the only liveable planet God has created for us and it is our responsibility to be good stewards of his awesome gifts. The students further spoke about the SDGs, which help us to protect and respect Mother Earth in all its diversity. A Hindi Street Play- ‘Nukkad Natak’ was staged by our talented boys where they focused on being environmentally conscious and suggested simple ways to do our bit in conserving the environment. The boys delivered a powerful message about making everyday choices so that we can work towards a sustainable future for our planet. An interesting poem recitation about celebrating an eco-friendly Diwali impressed one and all. The students grooved to the beats of the Earth Song as they presented a well coordinated dance performance. The assembly concluded with a Cleanliness Drive to be carried out for the whole week in the Junior School. Our respected Headmistress, Mrs Kaushal wished all a very joyous Diwali and reinforced the message of doing our own little bit to protect the environment.
