FESTIVE FIESTA ART EXHIBITION - MIDDLE SCHOOL

Description: Art is the aesthetic branch of creativity. The Christmas season this year kicked off by celebrating a joyful Art Exhibition on the 20th December 2022, Tuesday. The Edmund Rice Hall was filled with the selected colorful delights of our talented students of classes 4 to 10. Works included, Paper Caricatures, Charcoal Drawing, Canvas paintings, Doodle art, on-the-spot foil paper models and vast arena of art and craft work. The event was graced by the presence of eminent Chief Guest Fr. Afilash T. Issac from Indian Orthodox Church, Diocese of Delhi. Father is closely associated with art and creativity, an IIFT graduate, an illustrator and a Priest for the last 18 years. His skills include caricaturing, cartooning and art therapy training for schools (Man ki kala). Our distinguished guest list didn’t stop there. Our Principal Br. Robert, Head Mistress Middle School, Mrs. A. Pal, Administrator Senior School Mr. Naresh and Head Mistress Junior School Ms. Kaushal were present to encourage the participants and be amazed by their talent. All students of classes 4-10 were taken around to witness the creativity of their peers. Totem poles along with African tribe drawings were the main attraction besides Workshop was conducted by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) on pottery making and various competitions were held by Pidilite to keep our little minds busy and engrossed in creativity. Students thoroughly enjoyed these activities. Some of the key highlights were the works of Ubaid (class 9A), Yashasvi (class 9A), Sean (class 9D), Ayush Sharma (class 9A) and Alistair (class 10D). All the students of Art Club worked tirelessly for the last many days and ensured that the event was successful. Mr Manoj Kar, Mrs Poornima Dhasmana along with team of teachers- Mrs Maggie Mathew, Mrs Rajashree Vipin, Mrs Archana Srivastava, Mrs Aslekha Philip, Ms Roscilin and Ms Rebecca, worked together as a team for conduct of the event, Special thanks to Brother Roberts and Mrs Pal for providing excellent guidance and support for the event.
