ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY 2024 - SENIOR SCHOOL

Description: The Annual Award Presentation Ceremony for the academic year 2023-2024 was held on The 12th of July 2024 in the ERH. The Chief Guest of the day was Dr Neeraj Gulati and an ex- Columban. The Ceremony started at 9:00 am with the lighting of lamp and the welcome address by the students. The award presentation was conducted by Ronel Jacob Mathew and Tejas Trivedi of class 12 . The school band rendered the song “Don’t Stop Believing-Journey ” which was followed by the presentation of the prestigious awards by Mr N. Chopra and Br Fernandes. The award presentation was followed by the introduction of the school magazine “The Columban” . Dr. Neeraj Gulati emphasized the importance of doing what one believes in and putting heart, mind and soul in it. He said that at St. Columba’s the focus is always on the overall development including academics , sports and extra curricular activities. So students should be committed to make their worthy institute not better but the best . He said that our school is known to produce legends and he is sure all the students will come to be an achiever in their respective field . The faculty at St. Columba’s is a treasure house of knowledge and experience , they are the Gurus on whom we should depend to achieve great heights .He said that our school teaches us the qualities of Leadership , Obedience , Honesty , Dedication , Humbleness and a quality of Service before Self . These qualities go hand in hand with academic achievements which makes a Columban stand out in a group . Dr. Gulati encouraged the students to remember that dedication and hard work is always rewarded ,students should think positive , dream big , love what they do and go all out to achieve their goal . He congratulated all the achievers for the excellent performance in the different subjects . He thanked his alma mater which shaped him to be a confident, caring and a well- balanced personality . Mr Chopra proposed the vote of thanks and concluded the ceremony. We would like to sincerely thank Br. Fernandes and Mr. N. Chopra for their constant support and encouragement. A special thanks to all the teachers, members of the administrative staff and above all our patrons for their help and support which enabled us to organize this event successfully.
