On 11th July 2024, Class 2A presented an assembly on the topic 'The Power of Words.' The assembly commenced with a prayer asking God to guide us in all that we say. The topic of the morning assembly was introduced to the audience with a quote from our founder, Blessed Edmund Rice. The boys explained in a poetic way how words matter in our daily lives as positive words brighten up our day, while negative words wrinkle our hearts. A short enactment demonstrated how changing or rephrasing our words can change people's mindsets, sprinkle happiness around us and make people feel cared for.
The assembly concluded with a captivating dance performance to the beats of a melodious song "It’s a Beautiful Day," where the entire class performed in unison. Our respected Principal, Brother Robert, commended the students for the remarkable assembly and encouraged all the Junior School students to use positive words. The Junior Wing Headmistress, Mrs. Ritu Kaushal, also lauded the students for their noteworthy performance and reiterated the importance of speaking positively to one another in daily life.
