On the 12th of April, a comprehensive Parent Orientation was conducted for parents of Class 9.
The session aimed to provide valuable insights into the school's expectations, academic
structure, and support system.
The principal Br.Robert Fernandes recommenced the session by outlining fundamental
expectations from parents, emphasizing the importance of guiding their children towards
discipline, respecting elders, and communicating in English. Additionally, the principal stressed
the significance of regularity and staying updated to bridge any educational gaps
effectively. Following the principal, the headmistress Mrs Aparajita Pal underscored the
importance of attendance and regularity at Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs). She highlighted
the significance of communication through formal channels such as email, diary notes, or the e
Care app, facilitating effective parent-school collaboration.
The co-ordinator Mrs Shashi Kala Shaji provided an overview of the annual assessment
structure for the upcoming session. Furthermore, she elucidated the differences between
selecting basic mathematics and standard mathematics, enabling parents to make informed
decisions about their child's academic trajectory. Mrs Geeta Sehgal elaborated on the pattern
of alternate streams, providing insights into the opportunities and challenges associated with
this academic path.
The counselor Mrs Sangeeta Tripathi delivered a crucial discourse on the importance of mental
health and well-being, emphasizing the need for parents to prioritize their child's emotional
welfare alongside academic performance.
Interactive Session and Conclusion:
The session concluded with an interactive segment where parents had the opportunity to pose
queries to the principal and other speakers. The principal graciously thanked the parents for
